| The Bab Al Mansour gate faces the well known El Hdim square. |
| It was built by the Sultan Moulay Ismaïl and achieved by his son Moulay Abdellah (1732). This monument has an 8 m height opening in the form of a broken arch. It is decorated with Moorish ceramics and framed by a broad stringcourse consisted of a lattice in relief on polychrome mosaic background with the green as a dominant colour. It is supported by massive columns of white marble. |
