| Borj Belkari is a part of the Ismaelian rampart built by the sultan Moulay Ismail (1672-1727) which goes along the Zine El Abidine avenue and the Abdellah Chefchaoueni avenue. |
| Borj Belkari is one of the principal monuments of the city of Meknes and thus selected to shelter the museum of the pre-Rif pottery. |
