| 8 km to the north of Sidi Slimane on the right bank of the Beht wadi, (approximately 80 km to the north of Meknes and the East of Kenitra) |
Although the site of Rirha is only partially released, the excavations enable to indicate the Roman presence located between the Ist and the IIIrd century A.C. The Traces of an enclosure which was for sure bored by a gate, the remainders of a hydropathical establishment, a building made of six rooms opened on a peristyle of four columns tree of them preserve traces of frescos are the only visible vestiges on the site. The site of Rirha is identified as the ancient city of Gilda quoted |
