The "shedda" is often celebrated the 26th day of the month of Ramadan, when the girl fasts for the first time. The "shedda" consists in dressing the little girl as a bride using some make up in order to make her become aware of her body and teaching her how to get interested in it. Later, the ceremony continues by a festival animated by a female troop of Andalusian music where the little girls of the district, the family members and the neighbours are invited.
