| These 36 holes + 9 schools make dream the golfers of the whole world. The Moroccan Royal Federation of Golf and the Trophy Hassan II which is held there each year have gained an international fame. Each blow must be considered and the bunkers were laid out in order to grab the most dared drives, dazzling fairways among the cypresses, palm trees, eucalyptus, cork oaks, luxuriant ficus, banana trees, papyrus, spreading the delicate scents of the mimosas, pinks, hyacinths, hibiscus, narcissus... |
Red Course: 6702 m 18 holes par 73; going under the score of 70 is an exploit that few professionals succeed. Essential to well place its drive, the trees and sand do not forgive. Neither water. It enters the hole 9 in the legend with its 172 meters to play above the water lilies. It accompanies the 481 meters of the 12 and closes the angles of its green. On the other bank, it becomes a real source of beauty, sublime mirror of Roman columns, brought from the antique site of Volubilis.
Blue Course: 6220 m -18 holes - par 72; Bushes of white daisies, masses of fields flowers, pinks, oranges, reds, carpets of purple flowers: the fairways have a bucolic charm. Hole 11, romantic and sublimates by 4, conceals a green placed between eucalyptus trees, a bunker of red sand and a pond flown over by water hens. This 18 holes par 72 is more accessible than the red course.
Green Course: 2060 m - 9 holes - par 32; less constraints and more ease for this lenient 9 holes, formed only from 3 and 4 with amusing solutions. Do not get too much distracted by the pretty spade-ox who follow the play blow by blow. |
