It is to honour Ibn Toumert buried in Tinmel that Abd el Moumen ordered the construction of the Mosque of Tinmel in 1153, the mosque develops on a surface, almost square, of 48,10 m length and 43,60 m depth.
Accessible by six side doors of which four open onto the room of prayer and two on the court. The prayer room is organized in nine longitudinal naves which lead perpendicularly to a transept nave. |
